What a build page gives you

Every build here is written down part by part. Nothing is left as "and then I tuned it a bit".

Every part, and where to find it

A build lists each slot the car uses, the option fitted in it, and the name the game gives that option, whether it comes from Los Santos Customs, Benny's or Hao's Special Works. Front bumper, exhaust, spoiler, hood, wheels, livery. If it is on the car it is on the list, so you can walk into the shop and work down it in order.

Whether you can build it at all

Every part carries a tag saying which version of the game it needs. GTA V has two in circulation and they do not offer the same parts, so "All Online" means anybody can fit it in GTA Online, and "Enhanced only" means it needs the Enhanced version. Paint works the same way. A custom RGB color is labeled as one, because Online only sells the preset palette, so you would be picking the closest match to it.

The car from every angle

Premium builds are shot as a full orbit you can drag through with a finger or a mouse, and the parts are marked on the car itself. Open a marker and it names the part, says which slot in the game it goes in, and explains why it works on that build.

Premium and community builds

Premium builds get the full treatment: the orbit you can drag through, the marked parts, a write up, and a video where there is one. Community builds carry a gallery and a parts list. Both are held to the same rule, that somebody reading the page can rebuild the car, and they sit on separate tabs so you always know which one you are looking at.

Grand Theft Auto, and nothing else

This site does one series properly rather than several badly. Los Santos Customs fits parts as a fixed list of named options: pick one in a slot and anybody else can pick the same one, which is what makes a build worth writing down in the first place. Grand Theft Auto V is what the catalog holds today, and GTA VI gets its own vehicles, its own classes and its own parts here once it is out and we know how its garage works. Pick a game, pick a vehicle class, pick a car, and every build for it is on that car's page.

Send us a build

Anybody with a confirmed email address and an account at least a day old can submit one, and you choose which kind you are sending. Either kind needs photos and the parts you used, because a build nobody can rebuild is not what this site is for. A premium candidate is you asking for the full treatment on top of that: reshot angles, marked parts, and a video we film with you. A moderator reads either one. A build that is accepted goes on the car it belongs to, under your name, and earns you a place on the leaderboard.
